SOLD - 48x36 in, acrylic on canvas

Set against a quiet, muted landscape, the horse is held in a state of tension between strength and restraint. The dark surface of its body absorbs light rather than reflecting it, creating a depth that feels as much psychological as it is physical.

Here, movement is implied rather than seen — a journey that unfolds internally rather than across space. The animal becomes both a mask and a bridge, holding a dialogue between what is contained and what seeks release.

This tension between control and freedom remains unresolved, shaping the presence of the figure. Rather than offering direction, the painting lingers in a suspended state, where what is revealed and what is withheld exist in delicate balance — and where the inner landscape becomes more significant than any external path.

And yet, within this quiet suspension, there is a sense of continuity — as if something within is still gently moving forward, suggesting that transformation does not need to be loud to be real.
